  SUE MADEX

Hi, my name is Sue Madex and I’ve been a Stampin’ Up demonstrator for more than two years, or since about 5 minutes after my first browse through the catalogue! I’ve always enjoyed cardmaking and other crafts and have had lots of fun these past couple of years developing my stamping skills, learning new techniques, building up my stamping business and meeting lots of other craft lovers.

I run stamping and card making classes regularly in Avondale Heights, in Melbourne's west.  Coming along to a class is a great way to try out some of our fabulous products, learn some new stamping skills and have a relaxing fun evening.  Check out the class page on my blog for dates and details.

My team of demonstrators is called Think Ink and there are 20 of us now in Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland.  For some Stampin' Up is a hobby, and others are developing home based businesses. Everyone is welcome.  We'd love to add some more friendly faces so get in touch if you'd like more information about becoming a demonstrator.

Sue showcases her works of art on her website - check it out here

NIKKI SADLER
Nikki is a full time working mum of two children and the the wife of 18 years to Paul.  It was January 2009 when Nikki was reflecting on the fact that as a defence wife who has done her fair share of moving around the world, she really only had a pocketful of friends here in Melbourne. So her New Year's resolution was to move out of her comfort zone and meet some new people .... and if those friends could have the same crafting addiction ...even better.

Nikki had already found Stampin' Up! in late 2008 but it hadn't clicked that this was going to be the key.  Nikki joined in May 2009 and have been having a ball ever since :)

Nikki says 'I love Stampin’ Up! products – they take the hard part out of creating – I have to have ‘just the right red’ or the perfect matching pink, oh and stunning colour combinations – for me Stampin’ Up! offers this and more'.

The most enjoyable part for Nikki is seeing others create ... she has card making and scrapbooking classes.  These are monthly - you go along to the one you like the look off, its always lots of fun.  She also offer workshops - coming to your house and helping you and your friends to make a card or two and help you to be rewarded with FREE stamps.

Nikki also has a team of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators - Team Inky ... regular get togethers and a forum to help each other - for hobbyists and business builders.

Nikki's creations can be found on her website here.

KATHRYN RUDDICK

Kathryn Ruddick has always been a paper crafter, and discovered rubber stamping around 14 years ago when Art Stamps first became available in Melbourne shops, and via party plan.

Kathryn loves running classes and demonstrating at workshops where she gets to share her passion for stamping with those who've never seen it before or are already as addicted as she is, and would love to build her small team up to reach out to others with the same passion and flair.

Kathryn has an Advanced Certificate in Art and Design, loves rambling around Art Galleries and museums, exploring historic buildings and places, taking macro photos of plants and insects and generally doing anything crafty that happens to come her way.

As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, the one thing that stands out most to Kathryn is the beautiful, creative ladies she has met, whether fellow demonstrators or customers who now form a huge circle of valued friends.  She says, "life has many blessings, and one is all the wonderful people I've met and who have become important in my life, since I joined Stampin' Up! almost three years ago.

Kathryn's works of art can be seen on her

SIMONE BARTRUM

Simone Bartrum is a demonstrator from Victoria’s Goldfields region and loves sharing her passion for papercrafts with others in rural Victoria. Simone has three children and is a full-time demonstrator. She mentors a team of demonstrators from all over Australia, and loves nothing more than trying out a new stamping technique or creating something unique for a special occasion.

JOHANNA SHERRY

My name is Johanna Sherry and I live in Pakenham, Victoria with my husband and two young children.

I joined Stampin' Up! in Feb 2009 after being introduced to it by my sister and fellow demonstrator, Genna Gifford.

After my first browse through the catalogue my wish list was as long as my arm so I joined up to try to make it pay for itself!

I love making cards specifically for a good friend or family member and seeing the enjoyment they get from having something made especially for them. I've always loved spending time making things but these days it's mostly cards.

DEB RAYMER

Hi I'm Deb Raymer, I live in Seabrook, Laverton. I joined the Stampin' Up! team in July 2010 and I am really enjoying it so far.

I have been stamping and enjoying paper crafts for about four years now, I also love painting in watercolour and swapping ATC's and cards, scrapbooking and art journaling and love getting together with friends.  I run classes at home which take place once a fortnight - come and join us and have some fun stamping and learn some new techniques.

You can check out Deb's fabulous ideas on her website here.

KYLIE BERTUCCI

Kylie is a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in the Werribee area and joined in May 2009.  She has always loved craft of all types, scrapbooking, cross stitch, knitting, crochet and until early 2009 had never tried stamping before.  But once her sister in law introduced her to the Stampin’ Up! Products she was completely hooked and became a demonstrator shortly after.

Kylie is building and mentoring a team of demonstrators called The CrAZy Crafters – this starter after she started holding classes in Werribee that she runs every week.

There are so many events to look forward to as a demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! And one of the stand outs for Kylie is the new catalogue just being released in September, the up and coming regionals event and the convention next year.  Kylie said “There is just never a dull moment with Stampin’ Up! As there are either new products or colours or mini catalogues, just always something exciting to look forward to.”

One of the main reasons Kylie said she joined Stampin’ Up! was to receive the products cheaper – and now she has been able to turn a hobby that she enjoys into a business and loves it! She also mentioned the quality of the products Stampin’ Up! produce are incredible with no comparison and very reasonably priced.
Kylie is based in Werribee and has a lovely website which you can view here.

GENNA GIFFORD

Hi, I’m Genna Gifford. I’m based in Narre Warren out in Melbourne’s south-east. I run regular classes and stamp clubs, conduct in-home workshops, operate a stall at the Dingley Village Craft Market and mentor my small team of merry stampers.

Being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is so much more than I thought it would or could be. I signed up just over two years ago to justify the time I wanted to spend being creative but couldn’t fit in around my busy life as wife, mum and some time freelance Literary Consultant. And what I found is an endless array of people to meet and share my passion with. My once solitary hobby has become the means to getting equal pleasure from learning, teaching and sharing the world of stamping.

I’ve always loved papercraft but, believe it or not, I used to be scared of stamping. It seemed so final and so easy to muck up. That was until I learnt that it’s the quality of the products that matters – well that and overcoming my fear and actually using them! Once I found Stampin Up! I went from thinking I’d steer clear of stamping to wanting to get my hands on everything in the catalogue to experiment and play and create. And while I’m not scared of it anymore I do still muck up on occasion. But I’ve also learnt that some of the best creative ideas are sparked when confronted by something that didn’t quite go right.

The technique I’ll be demonstrating at the Expo on the Sunday is one such creative accident. It’s a way of stamping crisp, clean reverse images so you can make your stamps so much more versatile. I discovered it when trying an entirely different and unrelated technique but messed up one essential step. Whoops! If you’re at the Expo on Sunday drop by our stand and I’ll show you what became of that fortunate mistake!

KRISTINE THOMPSON

My name is Kristine Thompson and I am a single mother to three very beautiful and very active children.  I have been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for a year now and enjoy every day of it.  I actually kind of accidently fell into this role.  I went to a SU workshop a couple of years ago, thinking that it was just another of those scrapbooking parties only to find that I was immediately addicted to rubber stamps and Ink pads.

It took a while for my little hobby to lift off, but a year later I became a demonstrator just to fuel and pay for my addiction of stamping.  Little did I know that it would take off the way it did and that I could make a small business out of it.  I now hold regular classes at my house in Bayswater North every month and I love putting together my workshops.  One of the main things that I have loved and cherished as a demonstrator is the friendships that I have made.  Both with my customers and the many talented demonstrators I have been fortunate enough to meet.

You can check out class dates and inspiring ideas on Kristine's blog which is here

CAREN HUDSON
Hi my name is Caren and I live in Point Cook. I joined the Stampin Up family in July. After moving to the area in January I was looking for a way to meet people and enjoy the company of fellow crafters. I have always been crafty but I'm new to card making. After attending a few card classes I was hooked and I decided to join the team. I am currently recovering from breast cancer and engaging in creative activities is very therapeutic. The best part of my day is when I have time to sit down and start creating. I love making cards for family and friends. Over the past few months I have met some lovely ladies and developed new friendships.

Joining Stampin UP has provided a great opportunity to develop a business doing something I love. The Stampin Up products are high quality and easy to use. When a new order arrives on the doorstep it's like Christmas.  I plan to start classes early in the new year.
